Wait a second, I sense a luke warm flame outside of GD that is off topic.

Back on topic, since I am getting off tomorrow, I might be able to make the rp after all. Yay.

Yeah, Dulrik. You know the place, it's the one that's been the highest rated tourist destination in the world for six of the last seven years.

Translated, I get $22.50US an hour, which is still a lot more than you make waiting tables while you hope to land another programming 'job'.

Hey, I was just asking for clarification, since your comparison was otherwise misleading. Any flame was a misperception.

And I know I've never posted here about my work status or talked about it to anyone but a few immortals, but apparently the grapevine manages to find out these things, even if it is somewhat dated. At any rate, you'll be happy to know that after my Sony project was cancelled, I found new employment within a month. I am currently working on The Sims 2 at Electronic Arts. It's a pretty popular game, so you might even have heard of it in Australia, between waves of tourism.

Oh man, the sims was awesome when I built in a room where one of the kids couldn't get out by blocking it with a bookcase.

I set the house on fire then.

I think I've heard of sims 1... Isn't that the one where all those child degradation cults took off a few years ago?

Yeah, this link describes it. I think I'll just steer clear.

I wonder what my $60k American + benifits translates out into AussieCash™. I can't wait till I go back and get my law degree and actually start making real money.

Oh, and D, what part of the Sims experience are you responsible for? I don't personally play but I know quite a few that do. ;)
