I joined a religion and my head is not online with me much, I have yet to see him from the day I joined, and I was wondering what I must do please my lady? There must be some general tips, and how do you sacrafice things at a temple?

It's all in the RP. Good questions to ask IC certainly, or post in a note to the person who invested you. :) What is pleasing to one deity may not be so pleasing to another.

Fellatio and cunnilingus are often accepted forms of pleasure.

This is also very much your choice. Take a look at the traits your god is interested in, and see what you can make of them.

For example, I played a priest of a god interested in Wisdom, Liberty, and Discovery. What precisely does each word mean? How do the concepts fit together? Which one is most important? What does all this mean for worship? There are lots of alternatives. Following any of them adds depth to your character.

If what you're doing is
1) following your view of the god's traits
2) matching your god's views on ethics
3) violating no known divine edict
you're doing great. Consider your god pleased.

That's not to downplay Carita's suggestion of learning from your elders in the faith. Even apart from what ideas they have, doing things together is more fun.

How do you sacrifice stuff in your god's temple? Use emotes to place it somewhere, then drop it. Use emotes to burn it, melt it, whatever you want to do to sacrificially destroy it, then junk it.

I can tell you from personal experience that even using money, dropping it and saying something profound can please a god.

It can (and should!) be faith dependent. A lightie God would accept money, prayers, good thoughts. A darkie God would appreciate blood, sacrifice, anger, and evil vows. The more indifferent Gods (like Yed) wouldn't require much more than to be acknowledged.

And here I thought Sadal or Thuban would be the patron of greed/thriftiness. :P

I agree with all Benzo said, except the money part - I don't like the notion that someone may think they can buy absolution from a lightie church. Some greys and some darkie religions, sure.

Other than that... everything he (^) said.

Not specifically, although greed very often leads directly to things that please Us.

To a lesser extent, this also applies to Dabi [though not so much in the 'civilized' areas as in a world with a more advanced economy].
