The doesn't mean you get more hp though. 50/200 compared to 50/500 is still more bang for your buck. Either way you are getting 50 more hp.

Hummm, might as well ask another... how can I get a pet to quaff a potion? I've got a poisoned slave pet that keeps dieing to the poison, and I don't want to get any STDs from her when we.... fight NPCs... I've tried giving her the vial, but her hands are full (I don't think pets can hold stuff, only summons, tames, etc..). Then I tried droping and ordering her to quaff the vial. I've also tried filling a waterskin with the vial (which oddly enough seems to be a bug to have infinite water), and then droping the waterskin and ordering her to drink from it. Nothing seems to get her to quaff the vial, and the waterskin is full of "clear liquid" instead of the yellow liquid in the vial so when the pet drink it, it just quenches thirst. (I've filled the waterskin away from well's ect... with "fill waterskin vial" and tested "fill waterskin" and got an error for that command, so I know it's the vial filling the waterskin...)

You can't. A creature has to have a potion in inventory to quaff it. So if your creature has no inventory, it's hopeless. This is one more advantage of your undead over many other pets. (Not as realistic as it might be, I'll admit. But bought pets need to be limited to keep them from competing with more powerful class-specific creatures.)

You can't fill a skin with the contents of a potion vial - or at least you shouldn't be able to. Potions get quaffed for a magical effect, the contents of skins get drunk to satisfy thirst. The two aren't supposed to intermesh.

Guess what other class I found out has that spell

Keep in mind that whatever your horse is killing for you is not giving you XP. I think you get a little XP from your skeleton attacks, but I can't swear to it.

I did some testing and it turns out you do get "XP" from your skeles... it's about 5% of the exp you'd get for spaming cause light... Maybe when I have 30 some wraithes and thier killing NPCs way to tuff for me it be worth the ~ruffly~ 5% XP. (I cleared the basement area of the training tower 10 times to go up one notch of exp with 2 skels killing, and about half the area while spaming cause light to go up one notch. It's not perfect math, only tested it once... but it's close nuff, and I think that's about the results I was noticing when I wasn't paying much attention.)

Thanks again for all the help, I'm starting to get the hang of the game :D Let's just hope I don't cross paths with any paladins any time soon, hehe :P

Just wanted to confirm that yes, necromancers get XP from their animated dead. It's not full XP but at least it is something.

When you die to said Elf Paladin/Meissa Priest it's best to complain about the pain they caused you. Make them feel sorry for hurting you!

I think I'mah go the "I enjoy pain, pain is knowledge" way with my char. So at best I could ICly thank them for the pain they caused, and offer to return the favor. Hehe, I'mah have one hell of a tuff time with this char, being as it's my first and it's set-up to be jlooted minutely  I think I can manage to be polite enough though, ICly, to get some help from other evils :P

I think I am gonna disagree here. You want to train CON asap. It affects your dice roll modifiers at each level gain (at least I think it does). That will affect your HP directly much more than if you have a maxed CON at a later level.

I'm going to disagree too, didn't Dulrik say that it doesn't matter which order you do your stats in you end up with "the same"?

Though I think someone mentioned earlier that you get more bang for your buck training HP than Con at low levels but in the end the result is the same.
