Hey, i just joined Shattered Kingdoms and so far I am having a great time. However i have been wondering where you can train your other skills that the newbie trainer doesnt offer.

I'm a Rogue and I'm wanting to train some ameature skills such as hide, backstab, trip. But the starting trainer doesnt offer them.

Do I have to have a mentor train me? Or can I find another NPC some where?

Thanks in advance.

npc trainers are all over the place. Your newbie area probably has a rogue trainer somewhere, it is just a matter of finding them. Mentor is your biggest friend though, because any mentor can tell you all that you need to know IC as well as train all the skills you want to superb most likely.

Getting advice in-game is the best way to go, whether it's from a mentor or someone with a compatible title (Use "who"). But for future reference:

Trainers more advanced than the newbie ones can be found in areas appropriate to the class. For rogues, that might be seedy inns, black markets, .... Use your imagination. Skills like hide are shared with scouts, so you might also consider elven cities, tribal camps.....

Generally, the higher-level or more powerful the skill, the more you have to hunt around for it.
