Alright, I'm in the bakemono caves trying to plvl and I've got 12 skeletons and 3 zombies with me, and when I try to get them to attack, all I get is the "ok" echo... I can get them to sit and stand, but attacking or casting is impossible... and I doing anything wrong?The'yre not deaf either...

Do they have infravision? Is it dark? Can they use any other targeted commands?

Those are the first three questions I'd ask, because it sounds like they just can't see.

You are in a cave, and the only source of light is any glowing item you bare or your innate infravision, your undead cannot see in the dark. Attacking the bat yourself with a spell will initiate combat and any undead in your group, (see 'info') will help you. There are alternatives that are not that hard to figure out.

I know for a fact that Jardek is right about that. That portion of the cave was built as a dark room without light. Unless a builder has changed it recently, it is probably still dark.

I'd suggest making three or four weapons that glow and putting them on the undead before you go into the caves, or just wear two or three glowing things yourself to provide light for the undead.

I'm sure you already covered it too, but make sure you don't have undead in the second/third row that can't use reach weapons, either.

Undead can even normally "see" so darkness stops them? I thought it was more of a "sense" thing, since those dead, glassy eyes surely wouldn't work.

Shhh.

In SK, undead do not have blindsense, their senses are the same as humans. The spell continual light can help you enough, since keeping infravision to 10 undead is out of the question.

At first I thought you were talking about the style of art.

Art? More the lifestyle. Those people are Wierd.
