Less skills to use, simply.

That's LESS tedious, not more.

Less skills = less fun = more tedious in leveling and playing in general.
I think that is what he is saying.

My favorite class would be the scout, although never managed to successfully play one (always in my future plans) Their Independence and exploring ability makes them very appealing.
Warlocks are nice as well, but they seem to have limited alternatives (fire elemental/magma spray)
Swashbucklers have become quite powerful as well, but only versus unprepared spell casters. (pus they have style!)
I tend to get bored of Mercenaries because of the limited specialize options that they have (you can either join the flow, or try to differ and be below average)
Sorcerors are nice and versatile a nice utility char.
Necromancers can be very powerful but when un-prepared or played by inexperienced players they will die often.

I agree with Trag, necro's own.

If you have the patience and know how to make a massive army then theres not even a competition.

Get a friendly sorc to enchant up a bunch of weapons gstr/haste 40 wights/wraiths and well...owngage.

Necromancer is my favorite class as well. I wouldnt play anything else.

As a necro you have access to massive utility and killingpower, both in mobslaying and playerkilling.

May I make the remark that what you just said is not how you should prep an army of undead.
