Hopefully, if implemented, this would be a toggle.

An option for the dead (to use during victims of player killing) for roleplay purposes. Similar to an out-of-body experience. When dead, a player character with toggle on would automatically manifest at the corpse, unable to move, but remain manifested even with 0% magical energy until spell release, or be given a small period of time (i.e. 2, 3 ticks).

This feature could be a boost in roleplayability and interaction for player to player during player killing. Often victims who wish to manifest and stay manifested are unable to do so, due to already used up mana -- especially for the melee classes. What they say without manifestation also cannot be seen/heard. It would also allow both parties to interact with ease, without the constant "Who is this?" questions.

What do you think?

Manifestation owes to have a cost at your spirit power.

I'm not really interested in mana-free manifestation. The killer knows his victim is still there, and he can say a few words if he wishes. If the victim can't respond at the moment, I don't see that as a terrible loss. He's dead, after all.

I'd be more interested in helping newbies who don't know they can manifest. The problem with granting auto-manifestation is that they wouldn't know to release it, greatly lengthening their death cycle. I just don't see this feature as worthwhile.

No, I don't think this is a good idea, and that's because I think it's unfair if some poor theoretical giant in the harlequins mimics something and kills a friend, it's really unfair on the poor guy if you can just sit there hovering over your corpse for a couple of hours without him being able to do anything about it.

Long as you know the attacker, you can use tell.
If you don't know the attacker, you can note the adjective, and ask around. Then send a tell.

I propose instead of a toggle, because there is that 'wait til the tick comes' to be carried to the River, the ghost be visible at that time, until Death comes to collect. Long as I am throwing more newb ideas out today, where is the harm in the code checking current mana points, and if it is under a certain amount (40, not 40%. 40. I'll say arbitrarily) to just set it there so a player has the ability not necesarily to manifest, but to communicate.
