What new addition would most increase the popularity of SK in general?
An outlook on changes of CRS:
1. A revamp in CRS to gear it more towards tribunal/kingdom based wars instead. This way, more players are more likely to be 'in the loop', and feel they are part of something. Certain cabals are then able to go 'underground', working in the background as per preference.
2. Allow players to
capture and hold strategic points such as guard towers, market place, stables, blacksmiths and so on. These strategic points then in turn boost the economy, or otherwise materials of the said captures, such as an increase in bargained merchandize, trained horses, upgraded weapons, etc. of the owning kingdoms.
3. Specific production of Kingdoms, and a system in
trade routes. Following the previous idea, each Kingdom in SK could be professional at producing something. Zhenshi could produce silk. Empire could produce horses. Taslamar could produce tanso-steel, and so on. Once two given kingdoms 'trade', that two kingdoms gain the benefit of better clothing, mounts, and weapons/armor.
Generally, these ideas create opportunities for the kingdoms of 'SK' to be the driving force on the surface, instead of cabals. Also these features will promote SK with its name. "What is Shattered Kingdoms?" "Oh, SK? SK is like wars, diplomacy, roleplay between kingdoms, as the name suggests, with cabals that give special talents! Wilderness map! Lots of fun!"
If CRS is to remain unchanged, staying with cabals:
1. Allow the 'winners' to gain other forms of bonuses, instead of disabling other cabals' skillsets. This is definitely suggested before, and we know you mean for the loss of relic to 'hurt'. I agree, but I cannot help but notice the two certain cabals without relics for months have been 'hurting SK' instead.
2. Inner Guardians to marshal their
defensive strengths instead of their offensive ones. Currently cabal raids are too fast, too furious. It is a make or break raid within minutes -- literally. This actually leaves very little, if at all, player versus player in CRS.
3. I am neutral on this idea but I feel that if CRS is to stay, dual cabal/tribunal membership would greatly draw interest to SK. Players wouldn't be spread so thin into so many factions that is available. There will be more interactions, and players do love being secretly in an organisation.
