Another one of the great characters in this period of SK's life bites the dust. Its really sad. Aelraen was both fun, and a complete pain in the [REDACTED]. The stuff you were pulling near the end, while fun RP, was an IC pain in the [REDACTED]. :P I loved it though, and was glad for it. I'm just bummed I was only able to interact with him near the end...

Cheers :drunk:

SK Character: Briner, Senach, Myson, others.
Aelraen was a cornerstone of the last... two years? of SK. From Briner respecting him as a fellow grey-aura leader of a lightie tribunal, to Senach despising him, to Marston guardedly trusting him... Even the little actions affected my characters in some way.

What are you going to do now? :P

His greyness never kept him from being one of Pil's most trusted allies. I always looked forward to grouping with Aelraen, and he was one of the first chars I'd seek out if I noticed him on the who list when I logged in. The player was super cool-headed in PK and displayed a unique flair. Well done, and great char.

Peace,
Bux

Unfortunately, I did not get to RP much with Aelraen until towards his end. I greatly enjoyed the RP regarding the rift. And IC Phreya was grateful for him standing up for her and suggesting/demanding she fight on the front lines against the spider. He made a lasting imprint on her. Thanks!

I was there near there near the begining, and I am glad for such. I remember when you sat there and taught me all you possibly could and then sent me on my way for others to help. That and fighting along side you as a Guardian at the time was amazing. You sir are probably one of the contributing reasons to why I became addicted. I am sorry Malhavoc faded out near the middle.

I am however so pleased that the great RP did not fail, as I met you several times from the other side of the fence as Calieach and we had great talks and never could I say an ill word of Aelraen as a darkie because he was in a word Noble.

Good luck with anything you do.

Man what to say about this character. On the one hand, I oocly appreciated what he did for the western forces. He rallied people together and when he had a group together you -knew- you had to be on your game. Even if no one else was with aelraen who you had to worry about in pk, you had to stay on your toes with him around.

And IC slayne respected that. I'll tell you what I hated though. I couldn't stand the fact that the only thing standing between peace with the guardians an the empire was aerlaen pardoning slayne and him refusing to do it. Aelraen was always such a hard [REDACTED] about that pardon. I totally understand ooc why he wouldn't do it and props to him standing by his guns. But IC slayne resented the fact that he couldn't bend him into pardoning him. Which just made him that much more eager to break more laws and butcher guardians.

:P

Good character. I can't wait to see what you do next.

See, you teach someone the game, he just anonimously mentions you in his afterlife post.

We're in the same city, damn you, get off your pc screen and lets go to for a swim mwre [REDACTED]!

on subject: Aelraen was great. I did not interract with him as much as I should like ,but the marshal was seemed to always be busy doing something, and my character isn't the type to be socialy active unless there's something important going on.

I loved the way he was handling Ayamao, and the way he did not take [REDACTED] from anyone.
Overall, Ibelieve this was the best softstone there was :P

Good luck with your next, dude!

Teach no. Aelraen was already age ticked when you started playing again. Still you were the one who told me about muds and sk. And the marshal that was mentioned in the afterlife was Vaknafein who helped Aelraen's grandfather a couple of times in the cavern. :D

PS: Thanks for the replies and I'll try to play my little sprite. Aelraen was a two and a half year playing habit and it's not as easy as I thought to play any of my alts. If I don't make it see you in another six years when I won't even remember the syntax to open my backpack again. :P
