Wouldn't it make sense for scouts to have better vision? Scout=forward observer for all those military minds out there. Meaning they should be able to see much better or have that extra advantage, why should they just be able to see one league when they are in certain areas? Maybe a new skill "Enhanced Vision" or maybe "Forward Observe"...Just a suggestion and somthing I think would be quite appropiate and useful to the "scout" idea

I think I've already said something on this before - but because I don't want to go looking for it, I'll say I still don't support this idea.

There are herbs and pills and stuff for this.

I do not, however, think that scouts need night vision goggles and binoculars.

its not about seeing in the dark, we can all do that with in game herbs. I'm talking about seeing 2-3 more leagues in each direction added on. I thought it makes sense. command *help scout* command says to observe enemy formations. Well hell can't anyone do that. who the hell cares if that is some kind of plus to being a scout. Might as well be a mage that can fly and cast invisibility. Look west one league and say oh hey everyone else could have done the same thing. Just makes sense to be able to observe from further away then everyone else. The thesaurus calls it a Watchman. I'm just saying a few extra leagues would make sense. I'm only fighting this because any type of char I get I try to get that Extra advantage.

How is he going to see farther than he can see, unless he was born farsighted?

A skill "enhanced sight" "forward observe" what have you...I say a skill learned expert or mentor range, maybe even master. It makes sense a sensable skill.

No, actually, I do not have any enhanced sight ideas. Wherever did you get that idea from?

That would make rp sense. Let them see 2 more rooms in non-wilderness and 1 more room in the wilderness. I like this idea. Makes them even better at what they are suppose to do, scout. It isn't overpowered and isn't abusable. They would still need the appropriate vision to see further.

There are herbs that let you see further? You don't have to name them if there are, but I have yet to see a pill or herb to make you see further. Same enough if there is, why can't scouts have a skill. There is potions for a lot of spells out there, why not get rid of their spells if you can just buy a staff or a vial? I don't see a difference, or the harm it can bring.
