I prefer the realism aspect of every object in the game being junkable.

But then I thought about just how [REDACTED] hard some of the materials are that we're junking on a daily basis, and my POV doesn't look as solid anymore. *shrug*

Silly noob

You would not be destroying the energy itself, but rather destroying the form that the energy is currently taking.

I believe that IMMs should be able to be just that. They should be able to manifest at will and dish out some hellish evil, or angelic benevolence. If they see their paladin in a fight about to die, they should be able to restore them, or if their champion hellion is about to be overcome by forces of light, that those candles of life should be snuffed out by a giant axe of flaming unholy death.

More IMM interaction with mortals. Less bitching about favorites from the populace.

As for symbols being unjunkable. No.

I completely agree with you on this one Fepel. I've always wished for that to happen more. Words can't describe how much this would rock...

And on the accusation of favoritism, the answer would be easy "well he is my follower, duhhh" *slay whiny [REDACTED]*

Well, it looks like the forums dropped my post. Here's my idea. You can't junk symbols normally. When you do use this new command to junk them, the energy from the symbol is released and you take damage that is not reduced for any reason and is just magic damage.

Mine, was that if a command was used by the opposing religion (and the opposing religion only) to neutralize a symbol at their altar, their faith gets a combat morale bonus.

Everything except the COMBAT MORALE BONUS part. You did come up with the opposing religion destruction object, which I supported and elaborated on. Since the posts were lost, I threw up a hasty one sentence summary.

Well, I wouldn't do a combat moral bonus, you'd then get wannabe twinks making a priest and spamming holy symbol for their friends.

However, I think if you were to sacifrice an opposing religions symbol, you could get a count addup for it somehow automatically, and then monthly get a bonus for PK or RPK or something.

The idea does need work and thought, but it has potential. There'd likely have to be some limiter on how many symbols you can sacrifice per week or something.
