What does one have to do in order to become favoured by his or her priest? I currently have a priest of thuban. Others wish to join the faith and I seem to be the only one awake 90% of the time and since I am unfavored I cant let others in to the faith. I think this is rather unfair as others can't join and I cant increase believers. I have prayed lots of times and get no response can anyone offer any suggestions?

To get the F2 flag (which allows everything but investment), you can get it off an F3 that likes you. They may not give it to you (even if they do like you) simply because not everyone should be allowed an F2 or F3. If you want the F3, you can either petition an IMM for it, or wait till one of the current F3s decides to call it quits.

There is another way to achieve F3. Roleplay it. If you roleplay leadership often an imm will take notice and throw it at you. Of course if it is an immediate thing that needs to be fixed just send a pm to the imm that runs the faith. If they think it is justified they will help you. Also some imms in the past have inducted characters when there is no f3. If that is the case, teach them about the faith and tell them that they need to pray and think about your lord frequently. If they do a few IC prayers dedicating themself to their god of choice, maybe he/she will take notice.

How about letting all F2 characters invest?

I'm all for spreading the burdens of leadership to the general members of religions, cabals, and tribunals. Let invest be given to all favored or high level favor members of a faith. Let the bulk of the commands that leaders in all organizations be spread out more. Let members have the induct command, parole, member list, balance info, deport, immigrate. Simply allow leaders to be the only ones who make punitive decisions like blemish, tarnish, or banish.

I think that the leaders in SK have too many responsibilities, which leads to burnout and basic frustration with the job. Let all members be responsible for their cabal. Let leadership be the perk that a reliable member earns. Or simply allow leadership to be something that more than 2 characters can possess. Why restrict access to groups so harshly if the groups are the thing which are supposed to be the foundation?

I feel that would be an interesting way to stir up how groups work on SK, but not a likely thing to happen. Just like the idea of removing oathbreaker or allowing dual membership. Curious, just too open for abuse that Dulrik would even consider it.

I like it the way it is.

Dual membership would be key though.

Invest to F2? Only if leadership is given the power to actually remove people from the faith.

Having lead multiple religions and a few cabals I have to full heartedly agree with you there. Leadership leads to burn-out. Spread it out more amongst the entire cabal...The hierarchy crap is lame anyhow

How about F2 priests get a temp induct ability. They can induct like a F3, but for 2 weeks, the leadership then has the ability to cancel the induction. If they don't cancel the induction, the induction stands.
