I don't play a hellion, I play a paladin. I just have a hellion alt.
This wasn't first brought up by me either. Cannibal brought it up when he was playing Slayne.
Let's read what happens when you get intimidated.
Quote:
The rogue boss cannot bear to attack your mighty presence!
This means that it is just not within you to even do it. You just can't, the hellion is too scary and tough for you to attack them.
When you try to attack them again after being intimidated:
Quote:
The rogue boss cowers away from your mighty presence!
You can't break through their unholy presence, it's a supernatural affect, not just something that you can go, oh hey, another guy is pounding on him, so I can suddenly get the balls to attack him.
Quote:
The hellion's powerful unholy presence manifests itself as a supernatural
fear once this skill is learned. Anyone attempting to attack the hellion or
his allies must overcome his fearsome presence or cower before him. The
would be assailant will not be able to attempt another attack on the hellion
or his allies until he has first regained his nerve.
It looks more like a bug to me than anything else. You are compelled through a supernatural effect and until the effect wears off or the hellion releases you from it, you should not be able to attack him, period.
I find it a totally bogus claim that you should be able to overcome this
supernatural terror that grips you just because someone else is attacking the hellion.
protip: For the record, just because someone plays a class does not make their arguments invalid, plz try again.
