I tried attending, but when I got there and saw the crowd, (having changed my description to remain unrecognised,) I was a bit surprised. I thought, like most people, that the NPC handing out the masks would've been scripted. If anyone had looked at me while standing there waiting patiently for my turn, my disguise would've been blown off. Sort of beats the purpose of anonymity.

I tried shifting back to my normal description, but I guess I was either too tired or a bit frustrated at my own inability to switch back to my old one fast enough and kept repeating lines. I then decided that I didn't want to keep people waiting for me, and just walked off. That.. and my time was pretty much up.

My suggestion would've been to make the room before the ball room a private one, so that only one person could enter at a time. That way, spam on both sides would've been avoided and I imagine the process might've been enhanced. Otherwise, it seemed like an entertaining event and one I am sorry to have missed. Hopefully, there will be more.

Originally when this idea was suggested by another, there were some concerns about its feasibility, especially in regards to fears of final strike and the actual identity-masking mask. To my surprise, Dulrik and Thuban agreed to the whole idea, and a few days ago announced that they have working masks. I was extremely moved by this.

It didn't help that some had to attend to real life, but imagine what the numbers could have been then. I actually didn't know Dulrik wasn't meant to be Dulrik, but because of that, it was very heart-warming for me, knowing the game creator came and participated the event itself. He was there with us. Some of the things he said cracked myself and a friend up real good, too.

All in all, we had a blast. Truly. Thanks for the time and work you put in for us, staff, we will support you for that. Another fun weekend.

If this wasn't during a certain sporting event, I would have probably been in attendance. I'm sure there were quite a few of us who were in the same boat.

Thanks for this most fun of events...

That was me and I in no way meant that to be taken as an OOC complaint. I was trying to cause disruption and get the crowd complaining. I do take exception to the fact you accuse me of using the word 'sucks' when in fact I said...

"This mask is rubbish..."

What I didn't realise is I couldn't have asked for a better mask.

I have to say that the whole Ball thing was pretty fun, especially at first. Though then it got a bit confusing.

And I'm not sure I understand why you're all complaining about a low number of masks, because that was the funniest bit of all. You could've been able to figure out who is who, but sometimes you had no idea who was saying what.

Ah the confusion.
