Even though I got there a bit late (real life>sk), it was absolutely entertaining. Though the crowd was a bit difficult sometimes to follow, through the spamming, I still enjoyed having one time in SK you could freely walk around your enemies without knowing they were your enemies.
The "hecklers" in the crowd made me snicker a lot too during the performances by the guests. I also spent a lot of time giggling because I could see Dulrik during most of the party, at least the time I attended, while OA couldn't.
Oh and on a side note D...I don't know if you did it on purpose or not (I think you did personally),but the mask you choose for me will live in infamy. Finally SK had a legitimate smiling griffon. :P

As for criticism, aside from the aforementioned spamming, the private room idea has seemed to be one of the best so far. I know that would have been difficult to add in, and a lot of people, particularly if we had any newbies there, might not have understood. You guys did an excellent job in from what I am gathering to be a very short time period. It wasn't as smooth as it may have been with more prep time, but it was still very well pulled off without it.

(A further aside, the no spamming..if it includes footsteps nearby might be slightly buggy for barbs unless that has no affect on that particular skill. I'm not sure though, so it's just a thought for test consideration during coding).

A gag that would exclude everything but emotes, pemotes, tells, says, gtells, cabal chat and I suppose Immortal's room echoes would be awesome.

As far as the private room business: I had no problem showing up as normal, waiting to get my mask, recalling, dropping my stuff off, changing my desc, wearing my mask and then praying for transportation. The "Tips" were pretty explicit and clear on what order you should do things in. But then again, it also asked to keep spam to a minimum and eat, drink, sort through eq and such in another room. So I guess some people didn't read this thread before hand. Oh, and I was under the impression that there was going to be free food and drink, so I almost didn't bring coin with me. I actually did by accident. But I noticed quite a few others there that had to bum stuff off of others. So.. next time open bar! :P

But as others have said, this was an awesome event. Especially knowing that D was actually playing with us for once. Whoever was in charge of the Jester (I assume Thuban) made me laugh out loud and obnoxiously quite a few times.

PS: Bunnies suck.

Hmm.. This perhaps deserves it's own thread, but I was thinking that this "RP gag" command could be an auto. Basically it could be called auto ignore, and the premise ICly would be that so many things happen in real life that you would never really take notice to, especially when you choose to let your guard down.

Turning on auto ignore allows a character to ignore some of the finer details they might be attuned to when they expect a fight. This includes such things as equipment and inventory management, eating, drinking, nearby footsteps, etc. Basically, this is a self chosen nerf that you can use when you feel like paying attention to a speaker or performance of some kind.

It makes sense, too. If you're watching something entertaining, you might see the people around you do some things, but you're not going to notice them half as much as you notice the performance. I can't say it will stop spam headaches, but it will certainly reduce the amount of text people have to sift through in order to get their juicey RPs.

Yeah, that's actually a great idea. I like the ability to be able to toggle it on and off.
