Once again, there seems to be confusion between the login/logout thieves code (which is level-based) and the monthly cleanup/castration code (which is activity-based).

There is no level of character or item that is immune from the monthly cleanup code, if there character has barely been online for the month.

A GM who merely logs out and then back in with his equipment (skins or otherwise) should not lose any items at all, since everything he or she is wearing is, at most, the same level as they are. No cleanup or castration code relevant here.

Two characters who only login for 5 seconds in a month, one of whom is wearing a full suit of Mentor gear and the other a whole kit of Grandmaster level items = will most likely both lose their equipment, because let's face it, there are those who are online more than five seconds a month who could probably put to better use the items that your character is storing.

This must be wrong. My character has lost everything three times but never his very cheap, almost useless jewels. I'm not supporting it's because of their level/quality but not everything is taken away. And then there is the case of the containers as well.

That's why my idea was to leave the unenchanted (only) skins out of this. Even with no enchants I think the good skins (wastelend mithril/tanso for example) come in high quality and people who only login once in a while lose them for no good reason.

Castration seems to only take items with quantity limits. I've had a scout being castrated of container/weapon/everything else, but keep his suit of mithril skins, which are certainly champ+.

Alshain,

Question.

Until the last monthly clean-up, the Aludran sacred armor was on someone who had not logged in for nearly 10 weeks. Until the character was deleted, it did not return to the game.

Why? I would think the limits on the items and his lack of play time would have prevented this. I know I am not the only one in a faith who has noticed a character with the sacred armor goes inactive and prevents the others from using it. Is this something that can be changed?
