Warlocks only get one spell that could be considered wind elemental and that is fly.

Create spring is also their only water elemental spell.

Come to think of it, I don't think that wind and water are even damage types in the game.

Not only are there major annoyances one needs to deal with while playing the class, it is also out of concept.

I'm pretty sure water would also fall under ice. Though some wind spells would be nice (aside from fly).

The only problem is that they are defined as type "cold", and not ice.

Using D&D standards for element familiarity. Damage type familiarity goes as follows:

Fire - fire (duh)
Air - Lightning
Water - Cold
Earth - Earth/Acid

Warlocks do not need to ignore MP, but they do need a buff, in the form of some new spells IMO. BTW since the changes to stop earthquake(IE NPCs won't follow you to mountains!) from being useful for leveling the spell seems completely worthless. Anyone disagree with that? I've never seen earthquake used by anyone besides myself, and the only time I've ever used it was before that change to level.

It can still be used to level without luring people out to the mountains.

And it sucks for that, I just leveled a warlock and I found much more effective ways to level than earthquake, the spell really is useless.

When I played my lock, I only used earthquake to lvl all the time. It is probably the best lvling tool a lock has.

Two years ago I would agree. Today, no.

I played my lock after all of the changes, and I lvled just fine with it. In fact, with some of the changes to certain areas. I am almost positive that I could lvl a warlock even quicker.
