Yeah, if you keep a shovel in your inventory and type 'dig shovel' it'll go through. You need to be wielding it to bury, however. Also, you can dig with a tiny-sized shovel, no matter what race you are.

You don't need to be wearing the shovel to bury.

The requirement of a shovel to dig/bury things, must of been one of the most awesome changes ever.

Next we'll need a spoon or a fork to eat but that will be dependant on the type of food you are carrying.

Flint and steel + firewood for cooking properly?
How about a glass if thirsty?
A bedroll when you need to sleep?
A saddle to ride?

Is there anyone out there who doesn't love RPing those little fun details?

PS. It's not that a character can't dig with his bare hands, it would take more time.

Yeah, I wasn't too fond of this idea, nor was I entirely sure what its purpose was, other than to add a little bit of annoyance to the game.

I will reiterate my standard response to this line. If you think you can dig a hole big enough to bury stuff with your bare hands, you've never dug a hole. We aren't talking about sandcastles at the beach here, on average you are moving almost as much soil and clay as digging a grave.

What if you bury it real shallow-like? Wouldn't take much moving at all to bury a sword, for instance.
