They're fantastic, actually. You don't even have to put them up front, even from the back while buffed up and due to their reach, they deal quite a bit of damage for a pet.

Wolf > dragon in the aspect of tanking, however. Especially if you have the ability to cast sanctuary on it. Still, depends on the situation. I wouldn't really stick to a dragon, due to RP purposes.

If you think the dragons are good try the other two pets from that place. One is not ment for damage or being a meat shield. It probably one of the first support pets ever.

Pets in General are overpowered. With a large black horse from Zhenshi, I kid you not, I was able to kill the leader of the Talons at amature level. I was given [REDACTED] because even though I wasn't yet mentor I was engaging in PK and I had an obligation to be identifiable. I can't even remember the person it was I killed but those horses are damn tough. So are the ones from the empire.

Pets in general are overpowered and these ones are prime example of this problem.

When I say mentor here I actually mean novice. I donno why I said mentor. I think it's because the person I killed was about mentor and meant to mention that but didn't.

Teehee, I am aware. Check out the description of one of them next time, see if you notice anything special! Makes me squeal whenever I buy it.

It was my intent to pull creatures from the Taslamar countryside, things unique to that area and make them obtainable as a unique and fun pet. I honestly did not think it through completely (apparently). I was more or less trying to give lowbies a one up with solo training, nothing more. I figured that their lower level was enough to keep them from being overly abused, I was wrong. My bad.

If you are going to do that, I'd like to see one of the firebird/phoenixes added to the collection of unique pets attainable. I don't care how useful it might be, I just really want one.
