I understand the argument that the newly-introduced alignment seems to lend itself the best to a truly dedicated follower of the apotheosized concept of Order... in a vacuum. However, I think it's important to bear in mind the rather schizophrenic nature of the god representing Order in our little gameworld.
To indulge in a bit of metaphor - the scale that is Ain is balanced, yet still dynamic - it's balanced only as a consequence of the equality of the opposing moral forces involved in the equation. The paladin and the hellion are the counterweights by which this balance is achieved, in spite of the divine fulcrum's somewhat tempestuous origins.
That's not to say there isn't a place to be found for the Dogmatic - the judges, the enforcers, to whom the extremes of sacrifice and self-indulgence are a lesser issue. I think it'll be interesting to see how this new element finds its way into the church's structure, and now that we have a new Ain I'm sure cool things are in the works for those involved in that question.
My two cents.
