Lightning already hurts minos as much as it would a giant. It's energy damage.

I like the idea of negative songs affecting grouped minos without the aggro effect, and the healing songs affecting any mino in room, whether grouped or not. I'm not sure how feasible that is code-wise, though.

Lightning damage isn't energy damage.

Alas, lightning is electricity damage, not energy damage. Sometimes the code is literal to a point of being non-sensical.

Energy damage is like what comes from magic missle. My only question is would it include voodoo? Or is it its own type of damage?

Voodoo is near godlike damage.

Voodoo is spirit damage. I would say obviously, but I guess it's not.

There does seem to be a rather excessive amount of damage types doesn't there?

Without hijacking this thread further, any chance of giving voodoo a saving throw? :oops:

I don't think there's an excessive amount of damage types.

It definitely helps races like centaurs.

And off the top of my head I can only think of one spell that does energy type damage.

Energy type weapons are also hard to come by.
