Mentor, that's the most boring area of leveling.

Khardyl village does have quests, actually.

My vote goes to the Wastelands. Since supernatural skins can't be tailored anymore, this place lost a lot of value.

Pardon.
Yes it does. But I'd still like something more exciting added to the area.
I still find it quite bland

QFT!

And I seriously don't see what makes levelling in bakemono caves boring. Its a well built area with many approaches available for levelling.
Man are you all spoiled grind childs.

Actually I think I disagree with a lot of you. I HATE areas like Orc Hive and Morea because you have to walk a lot to get to the few NPCs that gives some decent XP. Areas like Chibunei and Chancel because the NPCs are close nearby and there aren't really any danger. Leveling does not become MORE fun with the chance of dying ...

I actually agree with Cyra. Darkie mentor leveling. There -are- no areas for this.

I wouldn't actually be listing low level areas, up until Veteran at least, those levels usually go by faster than others. Though I would encourage the Imms to try and improve as many "leveling" areas as possible. I have a few suggestions as well.

First of all, especially considering the new helpless status, it seems that most of the areas that are commonly used for leveling are made in favor of melee classes, both warriors and adventurists. Now when veterans may find ways to level a caster, it can prove to be more difficult for those fairly new or completely new to the game. That is why I suggest that some NPCs, in some areas be made more vulnerable to magical damage and perhaps more resistant to melee damage. It would help casters out a great deal.

Also, it would be nifty to add little gather quests to areas, it doesn't have to be exp based, though it wouldn't hurt. For example you go to an area and a quest NPC informs you he needs like...pelts from whatever NPCs and if you gather a certain number he will reward you. And let's say the first time you do it you get an exp reward, or even an item, the second you get a temporary buff, something fitting to the area, or lower cost of healing services, etc. It would certainly add some flavor and interest to areas.

Since the post demands I list the most boring areas that require most help; I'll make a list, even though I believe all the areas could use some flavor.

The Blasted Chancel, would be number one. It is a good leveling area, but it's just filled with random NPCs, no purpose or anything. It would've been more interesting if instead of halflings and half-elves there were demon NPCs of the same level that were drawn by the evil of the place or whatever, impish demonlings or something and you had a quest to slay them or whatever. (see above for the quest idea)

Torrum Arcana, just random NPC killing coupled with charm person, final strike, color spray, acid blast and a number of other, time consuming spells. Would be interesting if some shady magic dealer in Teron asked for magical vials from the torrum and you'd get buffs, rewards, etc when you turned it in.

Temple of Murder. The most popular leveling spot in the game, people spend hour and hours grinding here, I placed it on number three since the amount of exp gained here is substantial, but it could use a bit of spicing up via quests and such.

Pits of Az'pook, or whatever it's called. Aggro tough NPCs, high risk, boring area all around. This one definitely needs an improvement.

I think that should be enough. I hope the Imms will consider my words and the other's as well. As it stand leveling is mind-numbingly boring.

There are demons in the area already, and even lower level demons require group leveling for the most part. Everyone there was essentially drawn to the evil of the place, there just isn't a book that says as much. Although, if the big push is adding quests, there are enough named NPCs in the area to make it a fairly good quest hub of sorts to send you to other areas.

Don't get me wrong, I like the area, that's why I want some flavor added to it, considering it's so popular and almost everyone uses it.
