Wow, thanks for that shocking heads up. A light armor priest in a faith of paladins and hellions? I have to say I disagree with the change to say the least. No other church with paladins or hellions in it has priests with light armor. I don't see how that amounts to balance either. Heavy armor on one side, heavy armor on the other for knights, then to balance the scale priests get light armor? Shouldn't they be in cloth or something by that logic? I don't know. I don't like it though.

Just wait until you find out what their religion spell is and compare it to every, yes EVERY, cloth religion spell out there. It completely and totally blows them all away.

I'm not sure anymore, I thought it was by far the best at first. But I think Desdomos cast it on me a week or two ago, and I just like walked away. I could be mistaken, I don't have a log of it, but I remember getting a "You can't move" message, and then fleeing the next round. I think it might've got changed so that it works like paralyze.

No, paralyze was changed to work like that, and yes it's possible to save against it, but the average person who can't keep a suit of enchanted gear away from level thieves will have their faces completely ripped off by it.

Unless the save was lowered, which I don't think it was.

As with anything to do with the random number generator on SK, though, you could have just gotten really lucky once. If you try multiple tests, I'm sure you'll find that more often than not, it does exactly what it's intended to do.

EDIT: None of which changes the fact that it's still better than most if not all cloth armor faith spells, which should tell you something significant about cloth armor faith spells.

I really like the cloth armor spells. Thuban, Marfik, Dabi, Mira, Aludra - all of these spells rock. Maybe Meissa's isn't as cool as those, but cloth spells are definitely powerful.

Thuban is light armor and it certainly is one of the best spells out there.

Mira wins all though hands down.

Twinkish? It's beyond that. My understanding is that if you combine it with another spell, you basically have inifinite mana. Am I wrong?

Not infinite...but you have mana for a long long long time

edit: actually it could be infinite if you're not expending yourself too much
