This is a tactic that has been used forever. It makes every bit of sense icly. Its been used against me personally and I have no complaints. If it is invalid, the enlargement spell has no purpose for anyone.

Backstab, charge, cleave, and anything else that puts a multiplier on damage SHOULD be impacted by the weapon damage, which includes size.

I don't think that size is affecting backstab as much as you think it is, Vaaku.

This skill is also surprisingly easy to nullify, even without a pet behind your character. Just ask Naji's player how frustrating it was to attack my paladin in Nerina.

The most of you probably don't realize that a dual backstab can easily clear 700 damage. That's death to about 90% of PCs in the mud. I'm surprised that more people don't play rogues to begin with.

It also completely invalidates catching people in the resting or sleeping positions for bonus damage because without it it still does a ton of damage. Maybe the damage multipliers need lowered?

Several ways to avoid death from backstab:

set a wimpy
engage in a melee to get your pulse racing
put a pet behind you
engage the rogue in melee

You character sure QQed hard when my paladin gang raped him in Zhenshi.

I was having a bad day, and I still didn't go crying on the forums about gank squads and OOC twinkery slinging accusations like a coked out monkey with a box of poop.
