Exactly. I guess many of us just have different viewpoints. I'm all for more conflict and less saftey. I don't think cities should be nearly as impregnable as they are now.

The only reason I'm against this is because I don't want to see a certain cabal ability become less special.

Said ability has another added benefit which is still mega useful.

Don't tell them that, they're already naive too it! Why give noobs more power than what they are worthy for?

It won't make it less special, take the idea from whoever mentioned making Poly so that it can't be scribed, and the only class who will be able to do it is a Sorceror, and *cabal ability* would still be better.

Unless you're telling me every guard NPC in the game has True Sight(I don't even know if this lets you see through polymorph, I've never once had the effect) or something, they shouldn't be able to tell who it is polymorphed, especially considering most guards NPCs can't even detect the invisible or hidden.

You guys are saying it would be "too powerful" and what not but are giving no examples. Why do you think people should be able to sit in the middle of a damn city and never come out? That is what the CRS system is for if you want to hide in a no transport room go join a damn cabal and stuff yourself in the HQ forever.

I understand fountain RP is for most people the highlight of this game but you all have to remember both sides and everyone would have this option. Not just the eeevil darkies who would haunt your nightmares!

Polymorph would become too powerful because complete Law Immunity is a very powerful thing to have.
I would not be so worried were it made to become unscribeable.

But as it stands now.
It would become overpowered due to the ability to abuse it.

Ok once again no explanation of abuse. If it changed to give law immunity then people wouldn't be abusing it because it would be working as intended. Listen man people who are wanted by the law typically just have someone hold their loot and then go pay their sentence when its still a small one. My point is people already abuse the law system, and this change would get rid of the abuse word and replace it with tasteful rp involved solution.

While I agree with you, I do think that the certain spell would need some other buff. Yes, there is an obvious (I think so at least) use of said cabal spell, but it would debuff it a lot.

I do love the ideas where there is lag before people figure out who you really are with disguise and your chance to be seen via sneak. An outlawed rogue/bard/whatever should be able to sneak in a town and still do stuff.

When I say abuse.
I mean that all but three? classes in the game are then offered the opportunity for law immunity. That in my eyes, is far too powerful.
