I find that the primary problem in newbie areas are rogue/swash trainers. Builders are usually very conscientious of making combat/spell trainers, but backstab and dual wield, which are two *very* essential low level skills for these classes are often overlooked.

It's not just about killing trainers. That was just the latest problem in allowing high levels to go into newbie areas. These areas are supposed to be a place where newbies can learn the game without having to deal with people screwing around with them in any way. That includes killing them, stealing from them, killing their trainers, junking the cast-offs. There are more ways to screw with newbies than I can count.

So keep the trainers inside the newbie area and place NPCs outside of the area to sell the equipment. That stuff is useful far beyond level 5.

I'm perfectly fine with that idea. I already said that the area most likely needs some more tweaks.

Then there is a problem, lower lvl people out of those newbie schools use those trainers to train their lower lvl skills which can and usually are bothersome to find.

Although, I should restate that I really believe that newbie areas should be encapsulated so that all the stuff in them is only related to actual newbies. Apparently this area has a ton of stuff that is useful to people other than newbies and so I think it is badly designed FOR A NEWBIE AREA. I understand everyone loves the area at upper levels, but all this gear and shops sounds like it needed to be in the city, nearby to the newbie area, but not actually IN the newbie area.

Lower their level. Just above what a newbie can handle, but below being worthwhile for leveling.

If you do this, please please please erase the necessity to travel to different newbie areas to get your basic skills in. Lots of newb schools aren't complete.
