I was thinking like hood over their heads kinda dark. No visibility, but you can still say, yell, reply etc.

That's a really good idea. I thought you meant dark as in cave kind of dark. A hood would be great for solitary though!

You know, all you'd have to do to stop people from killing each other in prison is to add whatever code you've got to the hell room that prevents players from using commands such as kill or hit to the prison rooms.

I know at least two cities where you can walk around in the jail area and there are multiple cells, why aren't people but in multiple cells?

And if there isn't a way to split them up into multiple cells, why do we have to waste something like 10 rooms in these cities that could be used for building something useful?

Actually there is only one coded cell room per kingdom. That's not something anyone can change but me. There is no reason to have all those additional cells except for thematic reasons or to possibly put NPC prisoners in them for people to kill.

When in jail they should confiscate your weapons and return them to you when you get out. Prisoners shouldn't be allowed to bring weapons into jail. And/or just edit the rooms(currently no magic) by making them set to stun without being able to change it until they exit the cell.
