I'm all for this change though - with greater power to warlocks comes greater numbers of them, and then it'll be easier to get RE vials, which basically makes warlocks like last month.

SS only blocks the damage effect of dirt kick. It does not block the actual blinding effect. Yes, it is possible to do damage with dirt kick and not blind the target.

Warlocks get MI staves/wands, it's not so hard to find one. But even in dirt kick, there is a DEX save that is easy make considering new haste. In magma on the other hand, all you have is reflex(hardest enchant to get) and that only to avoid the double hit, there is no save to lower the damage output.

So? Every other spell caster gets MI staves and or wands. They can dodge magma spray with those.

Swashies don't on the other hand where your dirt kick logic appears.

As for the images of warlock's enemies, all it takes is 1 chain lightning to destroy them all.

Am I the only one who remembers warlocks holding reach weapons they cannot use just to be able to magma the target they're fighting, even if blind?

What makes you think this is no longer so?

This made me smile. I definitely remember Cion's and my own Adept Warlocks holding glaives just to be able to magma Vaknafein.

Merc + reaching spec = dead warlock.

Merc + reaching spec = dead stupid warlock.

A warlock has more than enough toys to avoid being in 2nd row. If you can't find them, you should look better.
