It seems that as things are now, prone characters do not follow the group when it walks out.

I find this a rather unnesecary change that perplexes things a bit negatively. Leading a leveling group becomes a little frustrating, and journeys to the outer planes with a full group can become outright obnoxious.

Thoughts?

Leave it as is. Even with old bash you couldn't move yourself after being bashed, why should you be able to follow someone?

If I leave my atyrros one more time I am gonna flip out and start a rampage with a fully loaded shotgun!

Is it really that hard to wait for "XXX regains their footing"?

You can see when a pet or character gets bashed, tripped, etc. There's also a room echo when they regain their footing.

I don't see the problem.

And I don't see the need for this.

It was fine all this time wasn't it?

Another idea would be to implement a command to help someone up from prone if both the group of the prone character and the group of the helping character was not in combat.

That way you'd not face the sometimes unnessecary waiting that seems rather funny.

Bah, I don't always pay 100% attention when I'm doing something easy like leveling. Sue me.

Snuffle's post is my main concern. For pk, it could be fine, but this doesn't only affect PK.

On the other hand, making this affect pk and nothing else would alienate players from getting used to this, resulting in many warriors staying behind, prone, and soon ganked.

You stay prone because you're too busy defending yourself. Once you're no longer defending yourself, you should immediately stand up; the prone timer should cancel.

Fight is over, stand up.

Most prone effects are caused by something that forced you to fall and lose your sense of balance for a while, not all of which keep you into combat.
