An idea. Since magical flight now pretty much destroys melee combat, can you remove fly from the beneficial spells the NPCs cast using the AI?
For example...
Quote:
A towering zombie strikes suddenly, whipping at Bill Kourney's chest! Some GUTS fall!
The emissary of the Council starts to concentrate.
A towering zombie strikes suddenly, whipping at Bill Kourney's chest! Some GUTS fall!
Bill Kourney's shield blocks a towering zombie's attack.
Bill Kourney parries a towering zombie's attack.
A towering zombie strikes suddenly, whipping at Bill Kourney's chest! Some GUTS fall!
Bill Kourney slashes a towering zombie's left ankle, cutting a small wound.
Bill Kourney slashes a towering zombie's forehead, causing a small wound.

The emissary of the Council utters the words, 'yrl'.
A towering zombie floats a few feet in the air.
A towering zombie whips Bill Kourney's stomach, cutting a deep gash.
That's not much of a buff, right? Why would anyone cast fly on a landed warrior ally during melee combat? I'd much rather take a trip and have better accuracy and a chance for dirt kicks than getting screwed over.
