In my completely unbiased opinion which is in no fashion swayed by the class I play. I think acid blast should be made more powerful as well. :roll:

Granted it does only do like 15% to GM warriors now a days, less if they have any sort of enchants, but I don't really think it needs a boost. I wouldn't complain if it got one, but I just make do with scrolls instead.

The most ignorant thing here is your argument, DA. There are sooooooo many ways to avoid being magma'd it isn't funny. Mirror image, eth, dirt kick, and blind to name a few. Most classes in the game receive one of these. Additionally, there's resist elements. I don't know how effective quaffed resist is, but the spell is especially effective against magma, so it can't be all bad.

Compared to a spell gained at a comparable level, like voodoo (which you've alternatively fought tooth and nail for and against depending on whether or not you've played a shaman), you've got something incredibly fallible. How do you defend against voodoo? Quaff spirit aura the entire time your enemies are on (if you're fortunate enough not to be in a religion) or hide in an appropriate zone? Wow, what a wide range of choices you have there.

Magma is a single-person attack spell with a fairly long cast time with several fairly easy and fairly easily accessible ways of avoiding it. Warlocks have by no means become the best class in the game because of this change. End of story.

A post from someone who doesn't play the game and just trolls in the forum isn't exactly something anyone would consider, right?

Especially if you tell me as an argument that magma has a long casting time. :lol: Yes, much longer casting time than FoD and FoD can easily be saved in all the ways you mentioned plus it is affected by MP anyway.

Just lock it. DA is not a pker, has never been a pker, and has no idea about PK. Finney called it - DA is just not in a position to make this argument.

Tsk tsk, DA, you should know better than to flame in gameplay.

I won't argue with you on the merits of your case any more for a simple reason: it has none, and to do so would grant it a dignity it doesn't deserve. I'm pretty certain that this thread will be locked soon, and as Peso said, about 25 pages too late.
