The problem isn't the logs, IMO. Why the hell do you automatically know everyone in your group anyways? Maybe the Leaders should be the only ones who see those flags. It's impossible to play a secret character, someone in your trib/cabal will eventually run their mouth either ICly, or OOCly.
Exactly my thoughts. After all, imo logs are the least problem to the situation. The main problem is people who needn't know of every one else in their cabal, and start spreading info over yim or irc or everything else. There may be people who want to RP an openly known member of a cabal, and people who want to keep their character in a veil of mystery even to those of the same cabal (or at least some of them). I like the idea described because it offers such an opportunity.
