Serving your time is fine. It is nowhere near against the rules. The jail system is fine. Killing prisoners is against the rules and will be punished. Someone should really write down all the 'rules' someplace. Killing prisoners is illegal?

You guys are a riot. Time to use the Algon method to get things like this fixed.

I still don't understand why you consider that lame...

When was the last time anyone RP'd a fear of being killed? You know, that OTHER thing that happens when you turn yourself in for serious crimes...

Why would someone RP a fear of being killed? It's like RPing a fear of scraping your knee. I mean...I guess a few people are afraid of scraping their knee, but honestly?

No.

I pretty much agree with Erevan. Its sucky that the only solo PK's I've seen Benjamin pull off are in logs of him killing someone in jail. Do you think he could pull it off otherwise?

ENSLEY is insulting people's pk ability? What has gone on in the 3 weeks I haven't used a computer, jeeze.

You'll get yourself fixed right out of the tribunal.

No mention as to where these rules are listed...or are they the shadow rules that only come out when you least expect them?

Somewhere between Rule 1 and Rule 8, Gilgon. The whole killing in jail has been discussed (to death) before in the forums. There was immortal inclusion and response in the discussion. Add'ly there have been changes made in the game specifically to attempt to limit the amount of PK going on in the jail. Now Achernar has outright said (just in case it was missed in the previous forum threads somewhere) that PK in jail is against the rules.

Now, if you have an issue with the rules, I would suggest addressing them in the appropriate forum in the appropriate manner. If your intent is to go PKing in jail, then you really don't care for the respect for other players, nor staff, and I wouldn't care if staff threw you in hell and lost the keys for it. You're smart enough to know and act better on this.

My intent isn't to go pking in jail. That doesn't even make sense. Regardless, the fact that rules like these aren't listed anywhere (as well as the rule 'no summoning players with tribunal NPCs' and other such gems...is a serious problem. Just because it has been debated in forums doesn't mean everyone has seen it.

This thread was originally about addressing the comical OOC 'turning yourself in' to avoid being attacked by law NPCs when you go to pk that kingdoms tribunal members again. It turned into an attack on DA and Peso, originally because an immortal personally attacked one of them. I think the only solution to the problem at hand, here, is to use the Algon method. My vacation is over!

I approve of every Algon method of solving things.

Gilgon, stop your power-whoring for a second and try to think about what it means to roleplay a member of a tribunal. It means you are a member of the law enforcement community for your kingdom. The tribunal does not make the laws, they enforce the laws. Once you start violating your own laws, the NPCs that hold power above the tribunal in your kingdom have the authority to ban you from the faction. And they will.
