I have a staircase in my vestments, I don't know where it came from but it weights 1000 lbs and I can no longer move. I also cannot take it out of my vestments. I realize I could just take everything out except the staircase remove the vestments and just drop them, but I am wondering how this happened, and if it can be removed without me having to go get another vestment.

Edit: I just went ahead and got new vestments, still kind of curious about how I got the staircase though.

It's happened before, last time was with a great eq nerf. Probably some piece of equipment that was in your vestments got "removed" from the game, or the vnum got changed somehow, and your item changed.

I've had a similar issue happen to me. Logged on one day to find I went from wearing a breastplate to a cave... (I bet you that cave would've given me great armor, had it not weighed 2000 lbs). My best guess for how this happens is a vnum gets recycled into being something else but not all the items are reclaimed before this happens.

You have two options. Junk the unholy vestments or pray up to an IMM until they can help you out.

Actually, that was my fault. The item was one of the eggs from the "Easter Dragon Egg Hunt" *cough* in Taslamar - and I reappropriated one of the items for a staircase somewhere else. My bad.
