How about you NOT go announcing on the forums that you will "cheat"?

I cheat.

Hasn't Dulrik said this exact same thing in past? And he also said that the chances of someone logging in someone elses character for 2 seconds and getting caught every few weeks is almost non-existant? That's kind of the point Dulrik is making I think. If you have someone you can trust to log you on for an infinitesimal period of time everyonce in a while you'll be fine.

But at the same time he can't suggest you do that because if you pick the wrong person and they delete you or go on a rampage with you character and end up getting deleted or something he can't be to blame for that. He can't have you pointing at him and saying; "Hey! How can you delete me! You told me to do this!"

He also can't have people lying to him and saying; "Hey, Dulrik guess what? I was part of an elite terrorist fighting special forces group that operates under the supervision of the DIA. I'm going to Katmandoo to assassinate Cat Stephens, can you freeze my character for me? I have to undergo some extensive training in mountain warfare, survival, and small unit evasion tactics. Oh, and by the way, I was captured overseas and was mentally tortured for a brief time before the government bargained for my release. I'm thought of as a security risk because I broke under torture so I don't work for the government anymore."

I don't think it matters anymore really. Unless you are a newb, I don't think there is a single person in SK that has not cheated.

Acutally, should he decide to accept this mission, he would be working under the IMF. If caught, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of his IMF team and orders. Good luck Jim!
