Apologies, the HTML for that page is toast somehow.. and since I'm in Germany for 3 weeks (big blue semi-truck, my nick in the front, belgian plates), it'll be a while until I can fix the file. Soon as I can update it, or get a friend to delete the duff HTML and leave the files visible, I will get it done.

Bash, free updates, compiz/beryl, amarok/exaile/listen just to name a few reasons.

Well for starters my games run better under Cedega/Wine than they do on Vista.

My machine is virtually immune to viruses and spyware. I click on all the banner ads I want son!

It allows me to do things at work that cannot be done with Windows, it boots faster, runs faster, and is more stable. I have Linux servers with years of uptime. Something that is unheard of with Windows server, especially since you need to reboot anytime you apply a patch no matter how simple the change is.

I run Gentoo which has the best package manager IMO.

To install any piece of software all I have to do is open a terminal window and type 'emerge <name of software>'

Viola, I now have that piece of software. Lots of disto's have similar things, but the repositories aren't as extensive as Gentoo's. Ubuntu for example...you have to keep adding additional repositories for other packages ect.

/me dismounts his soapbox.
