Uhh, Hammer Barbs hurt like there's no tomorrow. And let's do the math here.

Ghazzhaz lasted 4.5 rounds in that fight. (the .5 is from said hammer barb, with fury and other *cough* factors applying, giving him six attacks that would beast through anything)

Aliquada, although maybe 2x aged and unbuffed, lasted two. Two rounds, and only 3 hits from the Hammer barb who was easily doing more damage than the scout against Ghazzhaz. Had Aliquada been well-buffed including sanc, she would have -maybe- managed to last as long as Ghazzhaz did.

Sacred suit, whatever. She had passable armor and good weapons, and the fresh out of the box guard NPC with armor, sanc, GS and Haste tanked more than twice as well as her. You had to dig pretty deep to get this log, didn't you? Let's see... would I take a tank who, if I screw up and let die (or lose him to summoning) loses all his EQ or would I take THREE NPCs which can tank better than most any PC that exists and are ready within a minute of inviting them to my group?

Hummm...

Aliquada was triple aged actually and totally unbuffed.

And she dodged/parried/riposted A LOT.

That's something any NPC of the trio is not capable of.

I'd take a lvl 45 swashie any day of the week as my tank compared to any NPC of the trio.

PS: I agree Balacha shouldn't be summonable anyway. Apart from that, he's by far a superior tank than Ghazzhaz, a superior damage dealer and a superior utility NPC(taunt).

The moment I saw this thread, I kind of had the sinking feeling that this would turn into 20 pages of vapid argument, wherein- strangely enough- everyone arguing for a CoN wimp is *not* on the CoN, and everyone arguing against a CoN wimp *is* on the con. It seems that prophecy is only doomed to succeed for as long as people refuse to succeed themselves. It is your nature.

Now go play in traffic.

Everyone who is in CoN knows the advantages and the disadvantages. Most people not in CoN don't know [REDACTED]. Seriously.

Take Cannibal for example. He goes at first "OMGTEHMOOT!!!NONECANENTER!11~!!". The moment he takes some time to explore, he says it's the easiest HQ of all to enter.

The same applies with the law NPCs. How many of you have actually experimented with them? I mean serious testing, not the crap Syn has done that was all "grab ghazzhaz, posi self 22, wear bwhip, go and pk naked".

So seriously, once more, stfunoobs.

I just thought I'd comment on how that log came before the bash change. I remember at least that much because it was my spammed actions (and a little over-confidence) that screwed me in the end.

Yes, but Cannibal also cheats in order to stay law-mob immune, turns himself in the instant he has a crime, and still goes into countries he ICly is banished in but OOCly he is not and checks out their inns/etc. for enemies.

Anyways, if someone is disguised as a friend of yours and you want to kill them - do what I do. Spam follow your friend. As soon as Cannibal enters the room you will switch to be following him since he is 1., and then as soon as he leaves he is the first person in the room, waiting to die.

Not that it really matters. He dies all the time, he just has law immunity to hook him up at the moment.

Umm...I've been to prison once for stealing in krychire. That's it Gilgon. Last time I checked, going to prison for your crime is what you're supposed to do.

Last I checked, when you are ICly kill on sight by every single guard of a nation and you are ICly told you are banished, walking through that city repeatedly in order to kill people is OOC and cheating.

So is going to an enemy nation that you are clearly at war with, with a war party, but trying to avoid being gasp, banished by code.

The change to banish was made due to people deathmarking out of creation, not to allow GM enemy tribunal members the opportunity to be law immune.

I'm hardly grandmaster. I'm only mentor. I've also only ever killed one person in that kingdom and that was benjamin when he attacked me. It's not my fault he didn't report me for it. I'm a rogue and I'm sneaky. I infiltrate the city past the guards in order to scout. That's not cheating or ooc. That's the role of my profession.

I do find it highly amusing that a single mentor rogue, who isn't even killing people, is causing you enough stress to whine about it here though.
