SK's biggest loser, at his best. Thanks for enlightening me to finer aspects of online gaming!

All I can say is I'd rather be a "newbie" forever than a proud pompous a$$hole who gives it to everyone else in the a$$ before he can get his way. C'est la vie, TWINK.

Snuffles, who do you think overused it in the game and caused all that fuss?

Some imm even told me in some OOC tell discussion that they were considering of setting my locate spell skill to -1 so I'd lose it for overusing it.

I did a good job I guess. :D

Much like how Algon got voodoo wimped, how he made a certain sorc NPC in the MC lose final strike etc. Actions can be more powerful than words when imms don't listen to words.

And stratford, you still remain a newbie no matter what you say. I doubt you barely understand mechanics or have even seen half of the scripted lewt of SK and know what it does, so I guess you can't exactly judge what is overpowered and what is not.

Newbies? I'll tell you what newbies do, they suck Algon's dick. Kinda like you and how you just got owned, board-warrior. Now don't forget to go for the milk-dud.

The necklaces are fine, and just need a level check script which can either be coded from scratch in about a minute flat or ripped from one of two or three different items that I can think of off hand. My suggestion would be 25 or lower.

Decide and don't play with words.

They are either fine and work well, or they are not fine and need to be wimped(with a level check as you said).

And this thread is not about certain items getting wimped, it's about some builders understanding how irresponsible they are with the totally overpowered lewt they add to SK and how they destroy the game balance.

I'm sorry if my posts are not filled with flowers and [REDACTED], but I just say it out straight. I consider said builder(s) to be total [RULES VIOLATION ETCETC] as long as I see such things added to the game.

EDIT: @stratford: Hey newbie, I got it wimped, didn't I? And didn't I say that I'm glad this change happened? And as why you are newbie, you consider level 30 undead as overpowered law NPCs. Only that makes me laugh with your knowledge about mechanics.

I know you have no way of knowing this, but the item and the script are completely different things. The item generally refers to the item as a whole, whereas the script is what controls the extra benefits of the item. Without the PE regen script it'd simply be a low-level light item that can be resized. That's actually what I use it for, the PE regen just being a side benefit.

For example, you could completely remove the PE regen script and the item would still exist. In fact, even adding a level check script would keep the item intact almost exactly as is, and what it was intended to be.

I said what I meant, the item is fine it just needs a level check on the script.

Also, every single post I've read from you has been the exact same [REDACTED]. You telling people "how it is" in the most arrogant way possible. There is a difference between Finney and Thran, and your posts are quickly approaching the latter than the former.

Also, wrong thread for it, but you're missing the main thing that kept NW guards balanced compared to the rest. Their bounty NPCs and other NPCs in their cities are wraiths so they had paralyze. The wimping of paralyze effects in turn wimped one of the few advantages NW had over the rest of the cities.

The bounty NPCs have a poison script, not a paralyze one. The paralyze one is at level 30 NPCs and seriously, if you get hit from that crappy level paralyze, you deserve to die anyway.

DA, and others like him, only want leet loot stripped because if there is only a small number of things that are leet, they can use their OOC powers to make sure that they get it and no one else does, which will keep them alive longer and everyone else less.

I, and others like me, don't use OOC powers to get the l33t stuff. We just know the game better than you.

If others took time to play as adventurers and achievers they'd learn the game better also. But most people play as killers or as socializers.

I think Thran would have felt offended at that.
