Yes, I have and am playing one and have had decent armor.

The helpfile for MV specifies MV only works on materials able to be repaired a tailor so unless its like dragon scale...I don't see how it could be better.

Scale + MV is similar to adamantite anyway.

You guys are seriously stupid, if you don't think a Shaman is hands down the best tank in SK. Please show me a merc or barb, or paladin, even in the Fist, that could have done half the crap I did with my 2 shamans. =/

Ever hear of a character named Aedus? He tanked fairly well, and that was before there was any bonus to wearing heavy armor other than the AC.

Are you people honestly complaining about one of the best tank/pk classes in sk?

Not counting Voodoo, best pk class? pffff.

You mean one of the best tanking classes behind: paladin, merc, and barb, then sure.

While I agree with most of this, I don't agree with Shamans being worse tanks than Barbarians. That isn't true. Both Paladins and Mercs have their specific upsides and things that assist them in being better, but Barbs have none of those.

I'll play a shaman as my next char.

Sanc/MV/Spirit aura in fully enchanted dragonscale>anything, even fists.

No edmg, but they are still decent, far better harlequin/druid/hammer/mc/tribunal.

One more cog, SA doesn't stack with another popular spell for tanking (I believe it is sanc).
