Give them e-parry, and make the chances of a trip or bash succeeding while dancing much lower then it is currently.

This would actually allow them to survive for a while in the front row.

Dance already gives a chance to avoid trip and bash.

Which is why I said, "lower then it is currently"
How often do you honestly see a bash/trip miss on a bard while dancing?
You're more likely to dodge a bash as a sprite then a dancing bard, though a sprite bard could be dangerous. :P

Actually, you ARE right that the amount that dance helps to dodge trip/bash is pretty low, but I think if they had e-parry (so they could, you know, parry with a whip and the like) that it would offset the lack of dance's boost to defense.

Anyone else disgusted when they see threads asking for classes to be made stronger when the author currently plays that class?

Yes, and that should be the poll.

Who else would know about the class, other than someone who is playing it?

You do realize he said "you're" not "your. Are apostrophes not allowed to be used to join words in Canada?

I was putting emphasis on MY statement, not correcting someone who clearly already can tell the difference between "you're" and "your." Now stop being bitter that you learned a bit of grammar.

Someone who has played it, someone who see's someone else playing and thinks to themselves "Wow that really sucks"

Before someone else points it out, I was a big advocate of 'buff the warlocks' before the recent code update, but so were a lot of people that were not playing warlocks at the time so :-P

It's not like I'm the first person to ever bring this up. And it makes no sense at all for bards to just get parry. When they can't really use it.

Considering you can't use a shield while holding a landy, your suggesting that bards get shield block so that when they use one specific sub-type they are able to shield block, whereas if you were using any other sub-type you would be able to use the parry skill you already have?

I don't disagree with your reasons for using those sub-types, but you can't have your cake and eat it too!

Actually, if you had shield block and dodge, it'd be a lot more feasible to be in the front row, rather than parry and dodge, if you ask me.

I think you'll live longer with a shield/sword or dagger than with a flamberge.
