You do need to get your facts straight Minette. It makes you look foolish, when you babble on about things you've obviously little knowledge about.

Caelestis was not a grey character, she was aberrant. Last I checked, that is a dark alignment. She would not accept the Sargas flag by a guy she had absolutely no respect for, being that he was grey-aura'd and not of 'pure' blood. Later on, when he became the Knightlord and she learned to value his authority, she got invested into the faith.

I don't recall quaffing any vials of word of recall, but I may have very well done so. What is your point? How does my possible error of the past justify any of it? I wasn't actively harming anyone by doing so, other than perhaps my own image, since that'd fall into the lame category. This change however, is an impediment to the entire playerbase.

You don't like my attitude, Minette? Cool. I don't like your pretentious hypocrisy. Everytime I read a post of yours, I have to wonder whether you RP someone. I guess the feelings are mutual.

I wonder which players sent emails/PMs filled with rivers of tears though.

But I guess that's what they really wanted, right? Good job there crybabies.

PS: Adding a gate target everywhere actually makes the game even easier for the lazy ones. I'm against adding a gate target everywhere, just fix a bit the weather thing.

I have to agree that the main reason why this bugs me is indeed 'the weather thing'. If you don't have a control weather wand, a warlock or a shaman on hand, it's virtually impossible to get to some areas of the game without a gate target there half the time. If you were to make hurricanes far more rare and less severe in there impediment, this wouldn't be so much of a problem.

Yeah, make the hurricane+ condition a really rare one, like a 5% chance overall and still the ability to change back to very very windy after 10 ticks or so. And make every area load without hurricane weather.

As the game is now, quite a few wilderness areas load with gale blowing wind condition and several more change towards that condition very fast.

Make them usually cap out at very very windy or something. Make it hard to navigate and drain quite some PE, but still make it doable to get there.

Not only that, but hurricanes last for a very long time. On multiple occasions, I had to wait for like 2 irl days (for a reboot) because the winds just wouldn't change or calm down in the area I was trying to get to.

This change just _owned_ the sorcerer and priest classes. Absolutely freaking ravaged them like a little [REDACTED].

Dulrik doesn't even realize it, ahaha :).

(Luckily, I hoard all the control weather wands so that my access to my islands is unhindered)

You have only yourself to blame when others think you played a different aura, Lolth. You come into the Gameplay forum with a venomous tongue; addressing a few fellow players by the name calling "idiocy", then ask them to consider when next time a form of abuse occurs.

How quickly you forget at least one of your very own characters quaffing word of recall out of charm person, that you even tried to come up with excuses for, which effectively made Dulrik to force the code change to prevent you from doing that with any more characters of yours repeating the same...

Was it to be expected? Yes. The thing I find frustrating is the principle of chastising the entire playerbase for the idiocy of a bunch of people. I feel as if I am being punished for something I didn't do. Next time a form of abuse occurs, perhaps you should consider this.

...what did you call it, idiocy, and abuse, was it? Surely all this time when you flame others on the internet forums, including when you call out others on "pretentious hypocrisy", there has to be a limit on the irony in there somewhere.

See, the differences between you and others is that some of us will not call you lame on doing things such as reincarnating a character to save loot. Why is this? Because while you have done it at least once on your characters, and some of us never have, it may be worth a shot in the future.

We were both amused and amazed though when Ishiye tried it. That's the honest truth. No "RP"ing here.

Tell me there is still at least time to summon/charm before they wander off.

Depends on your timing as a player. It looks like at the tick, they wander off.
