shouldn't have used blind as an example, cause all melee I think has dirt kick which for the sake of argument is pretty much the same thing.

It's much better actually, now that it doesn't end at ticks.

As for damage, melee is still OP Dulrik(I don't have enough data for spell damage - although the fix on MP before the save was a good step that works fine). There is a log where a GM warrior in full adamantite dies from 5 head hits. If 5 head hits on an AC 10 adam helm can do 850+ HP dmg, something is very wrong imo.

Just to be completely fair, that was from a merc specialized in hammer of light, with a hammer of light, on a dark aura character. Not saying it's not OP, but it really doesn't seem quite ordinary.

I haven't seen the log, but getting in five straight hits to the head sounds like a freak occurance all by itself. That would hurt a lot even without the bonus damage from hammer of light.

A single story like this is not what you use to determine combat balance. I want to know how things are going in general.

hammer of lights do stupid damage against darkies with horsemanship i'm surprised he wasn't dead in 3 hits to the head.

The log shows that in 4 rounds of attacks the Hammer mercenary, specialized in HoL, probably gstrengthed/hasted/frenzied with the aid of cabal skills, was able with a HoL wielded to kill an enemy fully-equipped mercenary in 5 hits to the head. He hit 3-4 times a round, so hitting 5 hits to the head in 1 bash is not only possible, it's likely.

As you can see - 1v1 a warrior dies in 1 bash here, despite wearing a set of adamantite that had MP on it.

Is tihs how fast PK should be in your mud? I think it's perfectly fine as it is. But it's up to you as far as whether or not you should switch it.

Maybe thats why melee is too fast cause head shots when aiming upper are a pretty common thing. Or do most people aim mid?

Lightning bolt damage is ridiculous. I was averaging like 30% from Yalta's lightning bolts. (granted my bard has like 200 hp)
