Hi, I love the prone changes. They are great. Big buff to barbarians for sure who can berserk while prone. I do have a problem with the messages for prone though.

Unless I am very much mistaken you can't see when a person is prone or when they get to their feet, So I propose two new messages.

First one is when you use the look command. You will see the prone person lying prone on the ground.

l
xxx is here fighting a blahblahblah from the prone position.

Or for a non combat situation you would see.

xxx is lying here prone.

That way you don't walk away and leave a prone person behind after training or some other battle.

The next message you should get is when a person rises to their feet. Only the prone person sees one, not the people around them.

So you could see this.

XXX takes to his feet after lying prone.

It's that simple of a change and I believe it would make gameplay alot smoother.

As far as I know, you do see when other people get back on their feet don't you?

It is VERY annoying not knowing when people are prone, especially leading a group around places like the Wastelands.

Its also irritating, because bash actually got a really big wimp against NPCs with the prone change because 99% of NPCs with scripts still fire when they are prone where they wouldn't when they were bashed.

It wasn't quite clear from your post, so just to clarify/confirm what you mean in the second half -

Currently only the prone person receives a message (i.e. a 'self' message). You're requesting 'others' in the room get the message below -

XXX takes to his feet after lying prone.

Prone is an affect, some affects are immediately visible when you look in the room. Faerie fire? It could be as easy as

(Prone)A male half-elf is here.

That looks horrible, I'd prefer more of a charmed action effect.
egCharmed
A fluffy pony is here, eyes glazed over.

I think its charm anyway.. could be feeblemind. Haven't seen it in ages. :P

I would much rather see;
A fluffy pony is lying here prone.

then

(Prone) A fluffy pony is here.

When someone is prone you never used to see a message when they got up. You do now. So you don't need to add that. What I mean though, Alshain, is this; When you look into a room. Just look and someone is there you don't see if they are prone or not. It's frustrating, If someone is in the room with you and they are prone when you look you should see something like...

xxx is lying on the ground prone before you.

Something like that.

Ah sweet, thanks D. I can remove my trigger for it.

Does this action show even if you're flying or mounted?
