You set positions using the nine buttons in the group formation. Click a name of someone already in the group, then click their new position - the command is issued to the MUD. Should work fine.

Just a simple logging trigger...
automatic logging is a feature missing from zMUD.
So I fixed it.

trigger on:
Connected to host mud.shatteredkingdoms.org

#LO %concat(%title,%time(dd-mmm-yy))

Which creates:
shatteredkingdoms09-oct-02.txt

quite handy eh? ;)

Ooh, very nice Allikat.

Call me stupid but I never can remember to start logging when I come into the game.

Now can you tell me how to make it so that the logs don't save over the top of eachother when I log in more than once in a day?

Lothoriel.

Ahah... no such problem. It defaults to appending ;) (or at least it does in zMUD 5.22)

Here are the triggers/scripts that I use for SK:

*ponders* Wait a second. You're not worthy! *chortles*

"exam sack" shows what's inside something too, but you get the item description spam. :(

I use the old unsupported version of ZMUD, and when I enter the code for the auto-log that allikat supplied it saves every single log as SHATTERED.txt. How can I actually get it to make a date on my old [REDACTED] version?

try:
Code:
#variable mudname SK
#LO %concat(@mudname,%time(dd-mm-yy))

That would probably solve the problem of the old zMUD only having 8:3 filenames.
