Allright, i would advice also to create store-bought necromancers, champion lvl, just 3 of them so anyone can satisfy the little necromancer inside him/her. Also store-bought, golden dragons, just 3 of them, so they can fight instead of you while you re enjoying your coffee and laugh at your victim.
Also and why not, store-bought GGIs, just 3 of them, so that aside my coffee, i will be also able to eat something and enjoy the fight. Ahh don't forget to place them inside fist monastery so only i, will be able to buy them along with every other fist. And to be fair, create them to obey no orders. Once the battle begins, they will do what must be done. Fair enough.
We forgot the Dracolich. Just three of them. Make them bought in Teron, near the pack mule store so everyone has access on them. Fair enough.
Ohh how could i forget...Everyone needs his personal hellion-bodyguard.
Just 3 of them to cleave at will. Maledictions included.
So, make the whole game a pet contest. It will make us fat and coffe-coca cola company more rich.

That means that not everyone can have the jade rings from the Iron Citadel? Or the SS rings? Or anything elite?

That's the good thing with these bondservants. They are limited. But unlike unique and limited phat items, they can't be hoarded. If you are an active player, you'll get a chance to use them(till a scheduled reboot at least and if you are careful not to lose them in the meantime).

If your issue is about them being limited, then all limitations on all items should be lifted before these NPCs get wimped in any form.

I think they're nice in the fact that they give some classes (priests in my case) the ability to go out and solo kill people who they otherwise could not. But on the flip side they also give more power to classes that don't need it.

So...priests can have a free master level barb, but for everyone else it is overpowered?

I guess if you want to interpret it that way Syn. I just happen to play a priest so that is why I used that example.

These NPCs are fairly silly, but they're not exactly hard to get rid of, I don't mind them being around and used.

RP limits the use of these three NPCs, quite a bit.
But I guess this is a pk mud now where everything is geared towards huge battles (due to NPCs of course, not the amount of pc's) where atleast a pc dies a round.

IMO, SK is there already.

When D-A Dies and gets dehoarding he'll QQ like a 3 year old and claim someone used OOC info to kill him and then all the items he did hold he'll post topics trying to get them wimped.
