When I retrained my GM status, I was checking my stats right quick by typing train stat xxx/yyy/zzz.

I was disoriented, and it properly showed my wis/con/str were all maxed.

But the dexterity point took, and my dex isn't 22, it's back to the good old 21.

I think disorientation ate my stat point. :(

Not sure if Aging had an affect, bug logged it in the game and prayed.

Every1 be wary just in case.

Are you infact age ticked? If so, my very quick analysis of your situation concluded that when you lost GM, it took your stat point from dexterity, giving you one below your maximum, which at the first age tick for griffons is 21. You then re-achieved GM status and were able to re-train your lost stat into dexterity, putting it back at it's aged maximum of 21.

I'm not sure how spirit disorientation would play into that scenario, but if your aged ticked, your maximum dexterity will be 21. So if you have 21 dex there's no problem. Equipment may or may not be able to make up stat deficiencies caused by spirit disorientation as well, just like it does with taunt/poison/plague/feeblemind/etc... So if you were wearing any dex gear, and had your dexterity naturally maxed already you would not notice a point loss from SD.

Bottom line is, if you're a griffon and age ticked and you have 21 dexterity, there's no problem.

I think what he ment sypher is that he he spent his stat point on dex to get from 20 to 21 while under SD. Then when SD wore off, he should have gone to 22 with out the age tick, but if he did age tick it stayed at 21 and the point that was used to get from 20 to 21 while under SD was eaten.

The only explanation I would have for it is to check your mods like other people said. If you had moded dex to reach the cap, reguardless if you aged or not, being able to put the point into dex would be normal. If it was maxed with out mods, then there might be an issue.

When you accept a raise, breath, or rein, when you are GM and you do not have an xp buffer you will lose an att point. Now this does not take the last point that you put into something but rather your prime stat.

Yeah you're right, I dunno why I thought it was 22, I've been away from SK for a couple months, my technical knowledge is growing hazy again. I might have to roll a character soon before I lose it all.
