Don't restrict shaman RP. There's lots of interpretations and I would rather include them all. It makes no sense to do such. I've suggested before making SA targettable. Losing sanctuary would be a good trade.

What about losing voodoo for that?

Laugh, what? No.

SA doesn't need to be targettable. That's what vials are for. No barbarian should have gm level SA all the time. Good god almighty, what is wrong with you folks? Do you have any idea that you can stack sanctuary and protection atop that anyways?

SA should be self only, shaman's have a fine spell set as is. Nothing needs changing to their spell/skill set.

Losing sanctuary for castable sa...wow, no offense achernar, but what crack do you smoke? Sanctuary is -the- defensive spell. You all greatly underestimate it.

Yeah, me too.

Especially on the points where he asks what is wrong with everybody and what crack is being smoked.

Barbarians can in fact have SA all the time if they have the vials for it. Your whole case about how it wouldn't be cool for them to have it is completely debunked by brewed vials that you are also ok with. What's the big problem between a shaman casting SA on someone rather then brewing it? It's the same damn spell.

The difference between SA on a GM shaman and a barbarian with SA from your normal vial is massive.(not to mention that the spell only lasts like 2 ticks, on top of sucking horribly)

Vials last 3 ticks at most. Secondly, they are expert level SA, not GM.

There's a HUGE difference. Please, folks, do some actual in game testing before posting on the boards. Have -some- knowledge of what you're talking about.

The problem with this is...nobody hardly ever sees a shaman tanking. So the majority of SK's players aren't aware how mind-blowing SA is on a shaman with light armor and a shield. Let's not even think about it on a barbarian with addy, a shield, and parry..and like 15+ hp trains. :o

24 HP trains is the only way to play a barb IMO.

And posts like fridgeraiders' really make me lose faith in the game's players.
