Merc/Barb/Swash: Bash/trip. If you're low on PE, take the dirt kick and sleep after the fight. Or if you're a barb use it to level blind fighting.

Rogue: Backstab kill people, or trip them. Should have high dex anyway which actually does make it harder to be dirt kicked. If you're low on PE, take the dirt kick and sleep after the fight.

Paladins: Don't whine, you freaking pansies. Whining is against the paladin code.

Hellions: Don't whine, or your mentor will cleave you in half. Whining is against the hellion code.

Priests/Sorcs/Warlocks/Necros/Scouts/Bards: Stand behind pets. Bards trip.

Shamans: Stand behind a pet with a polemace or stand up front with an axe and get over it. I mean come on, it isn't like you don't get frenzy, refresh, and cures natively anyway.

ANY of these classes, if they don't feel it necessary/can't stand behind a pet, can put a pet behind -them- and order all dirt kick (NPC) to start fights. Yes, this is complicated, but whatever. IMO it makes more players aware of how useful dirt kick is in PVP.

I think you guys are all missing a key point. Lolth wasn't qq'ing about herself getting dirt kicked. All of the oldbies know how to get around it. We ALL know how to get in second row and how to order pets to start combat. We know the lay of the land in order to be successful doing this.

The thread was made because people -new- to the game and completely clueless about these tactics were getting fed up and leaving because of the constant dirt kicking.

I would have never thought to do any of the things anyone has mentioned here as a newbie. I know none of you would have either. It doesn't take us long to hit apprentice because we know how to do it quickly. New people though, takes them forreeeeevvveeer.

It won't harm us to have our leveling slightly increased if it helps keep new players around and thus making the game better for all of us.

If it's so easy for people who know what they're doing to get around, then the only people who are going to be affected by constant dirt kicking are newbies. And newbies don't need anymore deterrents toward leveling.

Are we looking at the same vote count?

Aren't you supposed to be gone for 6 months?

No, I'm not supposed until I get a verification it's not multiplay or perhaps an altered log(because let's face it, I think they are so pathetic that they can get so low really).

Anyway, that's off topic.

The count says 10 people think it doesn't has to change. I am 1 person only.

So I guess I haxx0red the SKs!!`11
