So..Prone has a penalty to concentration?

You lose your concentration on YYY.
Your armor protects you from any falling damage.

That was one of the [REDACTED] things about bash/trip making you rest. =/

That was actually one of the good things about it. That and that they can't flee. Be happy that you still get to finish casting spells.

1) You're wrong, deal with it. 2) You can't flee while prone either... 3) Uh, not finishing your spell and getting your FULL set of melee attacks in would probably be seen as more beneficial than wasting 3-4 rounds getting 1 attack ( if you have combat casting) or none...

Seriously, wtf Muktar.

I didn't realize I need to quote what your question was.

1) I think it is a good thing that you do have a penalty to concentration while prone, that is the only other benefit of bashing someone aside from. . .

2) them not being able to flee.

3) Be happy you can still finish spellcasting while prone.

seriously, wtf syndal

It's nice of you to confirm how much of an idiot everyone else says you are, thanks.

Prone=can't flee(I mean seriously, as if that isn't good enough), a penalty to your to-hit, and no combat commands for 3-4 rounds.

And..why are you saying "be happy you still finish your spell" if anything that's ANOTHER penalty. Since you're missing out on 6-12 attacks while stuck "concentrating".

Eh, this can only really possibly be a problem for paladins and hellions. I'm not sure it's a really big issue though because the biggest problem with bash and trip was bonus damage being dealt to the victim.

What he said looked clear to me, seems like you are the short bus rider on this one. You seriously [REDACTED] too much you drama queen wannabe.

One should lose their concentration when your [REDACTED] is tripped, you'd be too busy trying to concentrate on getting that fat thing back up and not a [REDACTED] spell you was holding.

I believe that the initial attack (the damaging part) is what increases the concentration cost. I don't think concentration cost is increased for the entire prone affect. If you have enough concentration left over with the increased cost of concentration when taking a bash, you will not lose the spell, but wait till the end of the prone affect. It could be seen either way. It would be nice to get the extra attacks during that time when you do lose concentration, but on the other hand the only classes which will really be casting spells and using a weapon would be the paladin, hellion, and lesser so shaman.

I honestly wasn't even talking about casting spells while fighting...Muktar brought that up.

Okay, I'm fighting Joe, and I'm holding the Armor and Shield spells. Now in the middle of the fight, I get tripped(or bashed, I would assume) and get "You lose your concentration on shield!" in the middle of the trip message. I wasn't originally talking about getting tripped/bashed WHILE casting, that's why paladins/hellions get combat casting. >_>

Edit : Wow, still sleepy, I said mercs get combat casting.

Yeah. It affects concentration still. Sorry to get all long winded on you.
