You can't blame people for being a little spammy, since we can never tell whether you guys are on or not. Then again, I guess if we always could, you'd be getting assaulted by twice as many prayers.

Heh, I remember I was trying to pray my way into a religion, sending one up like twice an hour, "Give me your blessing my lord!" and an Imm finally started pechoing me, getting me all excited... then he casted "bless" on me and left. -_- Total blue-ballage there. Although apparently investing wasn't in his power, so, can't blame him

Prayer privileges can be revoked for people abusing it. I've revoked prayer privileges many times myself.

But that's very rare and only on account of OOC spamming. As an imm I enjoyed IC prayers, regardless of whom they were directed to.

And you often reacted greatly to them, wert. I still remember when my n00b HF sorc of Zavijah spam prayed IC to his God (because it was the very first time he ever saw him on the who list) and you appeared as a hungry, grumpy gnome in the temple. First imm interaction and still so memorable. :wink:

Every once in a while when there's some really cool RP going on around me, I'll send up a short pray about it (in an indirect, IC way), just to give any IMM who wants to snoop something fun a chance to do so. Other than that, my prayers usually stay in says.

I did abuse the hell out of the prayer channel to get invested on Aneira (I set up an alias and set off every half an hour), and for that I half-apologize. But it had taken a few months, several PMs, people posting on the religion board for me, ect.... and I was super sick of waiting. :oops:

This made me laugh pretty hard. I've never revoked prayers of anyone myself, so I like to think that I take it all in stride.
